Public Forum: Should We Replace Street Parking with Bike Lanes?

As West End's population increases, we need to make it safe and convenient for more people to travel by bike, otherwise traffic congestion will get out of control. To create separated bike lanes along main roads like Vulture St, we would need to reclaim a significant amount of street parking.

We want to hear from residents and local businesses about how this might impact you, and hear different planning experts present the arguments for and against replacing parking with bike lanes.

We will provide tea and snacks, and hopefully organise a community dinner after the meeting from 5pm to 6pm.

More details to come over the next few months. For now, please put this event in your calendar and encourage your friends and neighbours to attend.

We can organise a kids' corner and child-minding service if parents request it.
