The Greens have begun announcing their candidates for Brisbane City Council.

So what kind of campaign will this be, and why does the 2024 council election matter?

What sorts of things does Brisbane City Council have control of, and what’s the strategic significance of the mayoral campaign in the context of Australian state and federal politics?

This free online strategy session on Tuesday 26th September, 6pm - 7:30pm, is open to anyone who’s interested in learning more about the Greens local government election campaign in Brisbane. We’ll have a few speakers to share their thoughts and take questions from the participants, and facilitate open group discussions so everyone can share their perspective.

Note that this strategy session will cover the same content as the in-person Germinate forums on 30 August and 2 September and previous online sessions. We are running another online session on Tuesday 10th October, and every 2 weeks after. We encourage you to go to whichever one is most convenient for you.
