Community Activism Workshop - Milton Urban Green

Jonno Sriranganathan’s campaign for mayor is not just about winning votes - it’s about grassroots transformative change in our communities. Our campaign is about radical hope for a better future.

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in working with others to see small and large scale change in their front yards, streets and local spaces. You’ll be inspired by stories from local activists but most importantly you’ll get a chance to meet like-minded people and get an opportunity to craft quick-win actions that build community. This could be anything from creating street art, guerilla gardens and temporary bike lanes to occupations.

Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible and outdoors. If you need an Auslan interpreter to be able to participate in this event, please email us at [email protected]

This event is taking place on the lands of the Jagera and Turrbal peoples. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and that many past wrongs and ongoing injustices are yet to be rectified.
