Gabba Launch Party with the Mouldy Lovers

I’m running for re-election, and we’re throwing a massive party to kick off my campaign!

Since winning against the odds in 2016, we’ve had a significant impact on Queensland’s political landscape, but there’s still a lot to do. The coming council campaign is a crucial opportunity to build broader support for a different, better vision for the future of our city.

This isn’t just about keeping me in council, but about showing that a more radical, more democratic approach to local politics is not only possible, but popular.

This free launch party will feature live music from my ska/punk band the Mouldy Lovers and local legend Jenny Pineapple. We’ll be selling food, drinks and raffle tickets and maybe a few artworks to raise money for the campaign.

Come along to learn what we’re fighting for, connect with other friendly people, and dance until the sound system blows up.

(If you can't make it to the party, but would like to support the campaign, please donate via this link: www.jonathansri.com/donate or sign up to volunteer at www.jonathansri.com/volunteer)

This event is taking place on the unceded sovereign lands of the Jagera, Yugarapul and Turrbal peoples. We pay respects to the elders and custodians of this place and we acknowledge that the ongoing struggle against colonisation and imperialism is fundamental to any truly radical political project.
